15 oz beans, chickpeas 1/4 c water 1/4 c lemon juice 1 T tahini paste 2 tminced garlic 1 t sugar 3/4 t pepper, black 1/2 t salt 1/4 t cumin 1 ds cayenne pepper 1 ds paprika
Put liquids, tahini and garlic cloves in blender. Add beans, 1/4 at a time and blend well. Add spices, adjust to taste. Serve on bread with lettuce and sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and onions. Or serve as dip for vegetables and tortilla chips.
