Ingredients
                
2 c
flour, all purpose

1/2 c
cold butter, unsalted

1 lb
about 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 t
to taste Tabasco Sauce

1/2 c
water


Directions
Cut butter and cheese into flour until it resembles course meal.  Add water with Tabasco Sauce one tablespoon at a time until it forms a ball. Cover in plastic wrap and chill 20 minutes or overnight.

Roll 1/8 inch thick and cut into desired shaped (mini animal shapes are a favorite here).  Bake 350 degrees F till golden (18-20 minutes)

Make extra, because they are very good!

Optional:  Use rice flour, wheat flour or mix of flours in place of flour.

Optional: Replace water with milk

Optional: Add 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (to taste)
