3 T butter, unsalted 2 1/2 cuncooked pasta, macaroni 1 t salt (optional)1/4 t black pepper 4 c milk 1/2 lbabout 1 cup cheddar cheese
Melt butter in casserole pan. Pour noodles into pan. Stir until butter coats noodles. Pour on milk and season to taste. Sprinkle cheese on top, stir slightly if desired.
Bake uncovered 325 degrees for 1.5 hours. Do not stir, will be golden brown and creamy.
Optional: Replace half the milk with water.
Optional: Use your favorite cheese instead of cheddar.
