3/4 c sugar 1 T Sweet Spice Blend 3/4 t salt 1 ea egg white 1 T water 1 lb pecan, halves
Combine first three ingredients in bowl, set aside.
Beat egg white and water in medium bowl until foamy, no liquid should remain. Add pecans, stirring until evenly coated.
Add pecans to sugar mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
Place pecans in a single layer on a buttered lined 15 x 10 jelly roll pan.
Bake at 275 for 50 -55 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove immediately to cool on wax paper.
When cool, store in airtight container.
4 T sugar, brown 4 T ground cinnamon 2 T ginger, powdered 2 t nutmeg 1 t ground cloves 1 t Cardamom, ground
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container.
Use as cinnamon sugar
Combine 3/4 tsp blend with 1/2 cup butter and 2 TBL honey.
Or Use with favorite spiced nut recipe.
