Sift flour with salt in mixing bowl. Cut in butter until mixture become crumbly. Add ice water gradually to make a soft dough. The less handling the better the crust. Roll out into 12 dinner plate sized circles. Dough can be made ahead and covered with a damp cloth. Cut meat into small pieces. Peel potatoes, turnip and onion then dice. Place onion in crust, add meat, salt and pepper to taste. Add potato and turnip. Add a dab of butter. Bring crust over and seal with water on edges. Crimp and roll edges over, cut slits on top. Bake on lightly greased baking sheet in preheated 425 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove and cover with towel. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
