2 c flour, all purpose 1 t baking soda 1/2 t salt 4 cdivided chocolate chips, semisweet 3/4 c1 1/2stick butter, unsalted 3/4 c sugar 2 ea egg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
In double boiler, place 2 cups chocolate chips. Melt until smooth, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly.
In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Blend in melted chocolate.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in remaining 2 cups chocolate chips. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8-9 minutes. Do NOT overbake, cookies will be soft.
Cool slightly; remove to cool on wire rack to cool completely.
