2 c water 33/50 c vinegar, white 1 1/2 c sugar, granulated 1 cn6 oz tomato paste 1 creserve juice pineapple tibits 3 T corn starch 2 T soy sauce (optional)
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, mix together water, distilled white vinegar, white sugar, tomato paste, and pineapple tidbits.
Cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes to 20 minutes.
Mix cornstarch with a little water or pineapple juice until no lumps and then stir into sauce. Bring to a full boil, stirring consistently, then lower heat.
Gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until mixture reaches desired color and consistency.
If you don't like pineapple pieces, feel free to strain them out!
