2/3 c margarine 1 ea egg 2 3/4 c flour 1/2 t baking powder 1/2 t salt 1 t cinnamon 1/2 t ginger, powdered 1/4 t cloves 1/2 t allspice 1/3 c milk
Cream margarine and sugar together, add egg.
Mix dry ingredients; add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth.
Chill at least 4 hours, roll out and cut into shapes.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 325 degrees.
