4 cdiced Rhubarb 33/100 c lemon juice 2 t ground cinnamon 1 t nutmeg 4 c sugar 3 cdiced, peeled apples, cooking 1/2 cTropicana orange juice concentrate 1 t cloves 1/4 t salt
Do NOT add water to the orange juice concentrate. Can use other orange juice concentrates, but Tropicana makes the best tasting jelly.
Mix all ingredients and let stand a half hour. Use large one gallon pan, cook on medium to medium high heat. Cook slowly and stir frequently, until the conserve thickens, in about 45 minutes or soft ball stage. Pour into sterilized glasses and when cool seal with melted paraffin.
Doubling recipe works well.
